Respected sir,

I have a request to kindly explore the possibility of providing

a. Electric/Solar Powered Electric Crematoriums at all Ghats of Varanasi to start with. Over a period of time all  the ghats along the river Ganga can be provided with the same. This can be state funded and run on subsidised rates to encourage usage.

b. Provide  incinerators to incinerate all the floating solid wastes like clothes, garlands etc.,

 

The huge benefits will be the following:

1. The grave pollution to the river because of the burnt and unburnt bodies will be completely stopped.

2.The Ganges crocodile Gharials, river dolphins and other rare fish species which are almost extinct because of pollution will find a chance to revive.
