Protest held at Aayakhar bhavan by Tamilnadu livelihood rights for the oppressed movement ( An ambedhkarite grassroots organization) . It was presided by Mr.Nallakannu , a senior communist leader known for his simplicity and honesty. Around 200 cadres participated in the protest . Slogans were raised condemning the arrest of the cadres. Former parliamentarian P.Lingam , M Veerapandian a senior leader of the movement were present They demanded that all charges filed against the activists be dropped immediately.
