National Award Winning Poet Thamarai On Thirumurugan Gandhi

Thirumurugan Gandhi is a genuine Tamil political activist. He is not a terrorist. Neither is he a criminal. He fights in the most democratic forms for the rights of Tamils worldwide, Tamil nadu and the oppressed generally. He is a well educated intellectual and has his own job. He doesn't not get funded from any abroaders/dubious organisations. I have worked along with him several years ago after Eelam Genocide and seen his genuineness myself. As far as i understand, this arrest and consequent charges are done to intimidate other Democratic activists of Tamilnadu. Applying 'Goondas Act' on him is ridiculous !. I join the petitioners in requesting the Tamilnadu government and the Honourable Chief Minister to release him immediately and withdraw the false charges. Thamarai, Lyricist Chennai, Tamilnadu.
