Dear friends,
I grew up in a single room 150 sq.ft home and in hand to mouth existence but worked very hard to score in boards and entrance exams and got in to CEG. I could have gone to BITS pilani or any NIT in the country but I chose CEG because of its heritage, the reputation, the faculty and the quality of students the college attracted all of which led to an all round development of students. CEG shaped me in to a much better person and am able to contribute back to the society wearing the guindy spirit porudly.

I'm not the only one with such a backgroud. Every batch has 500 or 1000 such alumni who have earned this CEG degree by putting in their life's hardwork.
We cannot allow it to just get buried under Anna and be made equal to all 500,000 graduates... We need to assert our cream status and earn it back...

Can I urge you all to post this petition in your facebook, instagram and linkedin profiles and ask all your friends, both CEG and non-CEG, to lend their support.

We need at least 5000 signatures and it will happen only with your help.
