We will continue to see more lakes breach their banks

Seven lakes breached their banks yesterday due to incessant rain. This is another example of the disaster that unchecked construction can cause. This is why it is important to force our leaders to withdraw the new amendments to the Karnataka Urban Development Authorities Act of 1987 which allows further shrinking of open spaces.
