Metro work in Whitefield to start in Q2

Work on the 15.5km Byappanahalli-Whitefield corridor is set to begin by the second quarter of the year. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (BMRCL) has already acquired land worth Rs 900 crore for the corridor and floated tenders for construction of six stations from Jyothipura to Visvesvaraya Industrial Area.
