Bengaluru Blue Print Action Group (BBPAG) is a cruel joke on citizens. Hope CM stops it

The Bengaluru Blue Print Action Group (BBPAG) has a wide representation from industry and bureaucracy, but a significant omission is of the voices of the common citizens. The BBPAG is exclusively elitist and their vision for the city is also likely to be limited, which can never be a democratic blueprint for the city.
The group does not have a single representative from many scientists/ traffic planners and concerned citizens who can give valuable inputs . Nor those working for the urban poor have any representation.
Also the absence of mayor and representatives from police, fire services, BWSSB, public transport and power utilities. While members appointed have been successful in their Business Enterprises , it may be dangerous putting the future of 1 crore citizens in hands of these few Elite citizenry. Infosys cofounder N R Narayana Murthy, Wipro chairman Azim Premji, Biocon chief Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw and Flipkart cofounder Sachin Bansal are members. Will the common man be able to access them to share his/her concern. Will not their Business Interests take precedence in decision making. Should the common man , from his property and other taxes fuel develop around their business establishments. However well meaning , but actions of these citizens in past have seen only pockets of development in areas of their influence like in Electronic City , Whitefield etc ... Will we increase the Rich- Poor Divide ?
Time to act, let the voices of the common man get a platform , Mr Chief Minister . Appeal You to make it more representative of the common people , who want a city which is live-able and not just a Business Hub.
