grazie al vostro incredibile supporto siamo quasi arrivati allo straordinario traguardo di 7.500 firme verificate!
Voglio aggiornarvi su un passo ufficiale importantissimo: ho inviato una formale richiesta al Consolato Generale della Repubblica Popolare Cinese a Milano e all'Ambasciata Cinese a Roma. Ho chiesto ufficialmente alle autorità diplomatiche di farsi portavoce presso il loro governo centrale per chiedere l'introduzione immediata di una legge quadro nazionale contro il maltrattamento degli animali in Cina.
La nostra battaglia non si ferma. Ricordiamo anche il drammatico caso internazionale del cane Orelha torturato e massacrato di botte, una vicenda che le autorità locali hanno cercato di insabbiare e lasciare sotto silenzio solo perché i responsabili erano figli di persone altolocate. Storie come questa, unite al tragico destino della cagnolina Wang Wang a Jieyang dimostrano che il vuoto legislativo e l'impunità devono finire. La vita degli animali non può essere sacrificata per proteggere nessuno.

Thanks to your incredible support, we are very close to reaching the extraordinary milestone of 7,500 verified signatures!
I want to share an important official step: I have sent a formal request to the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Milan and the Chinese Embassy in Rome. I officially urged the diplomatic authorities to convey our request to their central government for the immediate introduction of a national framework law against animal cruelty in China.
Our battle continues globally. We also remember the tragic international case of the dog Orelha tortured and beaten to death, where local authorities attempted a cover-up to shield the perpetrators simply because they were children of high-ranking individuals. Stories like this, alongside the tragic fate of the dog Wang Wang in Jieyang, prove that the legislative void and impunity must end. No animal's life should be sacrificed to protect anyone.
