In 2015 the City of Chicopee conducted a feasibility study to determine if the city could and should build a municipal broadband network. The study determined that yes, the city should build a network, and that it would lower costs for residents while serving as an economic driver for the city. Since then though, not much has happened and the project has been slow walked. It's time for residents to stand up and speak loudly to tell our elected officials that we want municipal broadband now!
