

City budget meetings begin next week, and we see this as a great opportunity to advocate for a rental registry. We have requested a line item to cover software (which is currently in place) and two staff members to run it. However, we need tenants, tenant organizations, and other individuals to speak on our behalf.
We're asking that you sign up via this Google Form to let us know your interest and for us to follow up with you.
After that, you can sign up for one of our Zoom trainings on October 14th and October 15th for more details.
You can find a directory of city meetings via the Chicago City Clerk's office, and budget meetings are scheduled to start on October 21st.

- Tues. 11/4, 9:30 am - Dept. of Housing
