Beach volleyball leagues have gotten out of control.  They occupy almost all lakefront public volleyball courts during the summer season on weekdays and weekends.  There are barely any weekends during the summer that a private business doesn't take over our public courts.

This unmitigated monetizing of public beaches combined with beach erosion and rising water levels will displace the tax paying volleyball players in Chicago.

Enough is enough.  Any person/business that collects profits by taking over public spaces needs to be controlled and we need to keep public spaces public.
