Cherwell District Council's decision to refuse a large scale industrial warehouse site across ancient farmland at Huscote Farm was reviewed at a public inquiry held in February. This came after the applicant made an appeal to the Secretary of State asking that the local decision to refuse permission be overturned.
The event lasted for ten days, during which time a Planning Inspector heard full details from both sides, exploring all aspects of the proposal.
Since the event, the Planning Inspector has been considering the evidence heard and has now dismissed the appeal, meaning that the council's decision to refuse the application will stand.
