We took the campaign offline and on the street of Manchester UK, many people have been made aware of this cause, and learnt about the cruel, health threatening and illegal trade of cat/dog-meat in China and other southeast Asian countries. over 650 signatures and many supporter photos collected! On 15th of June Sunday, we'll be sending our prepared documents, petition and letters to our ground volunteers in Yulin for them to hand in to the local authorities, also, our team in Beijing will hand these documents to the higher level departments and the Guangxi province office in Beijing. Our team of "Anti-cruelty Grannies" have been working very hard visiting the officials everyday demanding them to enforce the food safety laws and shut down the cat/dog-meat trade!
