Stop Broomfield and Writtle Parish Council from decimating Chelmsford's ancient wildlife

Stop Broomfield and Writtle Parish Council from decimating Chelmsford's ancient wildlife
The Issue
The Local Plan is taking on London's overspill housing needs and carving up Chelmsford. Nobody wants this. However Chelmsford residents are turning on one another at the expense of ancient woodlands (Blakes Wood and Lingwood National Trust sites) and the thousands of species of wildlife that reside around the Hammonds Farm area, and this needs to be stopped. Hammonds Farm has been discounted twice from the Local Plan on account of its exceptional wildlife, the fact that is sits on glacial sands and hosts a unique ecology and also preserves the waterways. Chelmsford residents should unite and not divide.
