Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this petition. As of Wednesday, December 11th Concord Lake STEAM Academy has 26 teachers (this includes substitutes). Meanwhile, the state average is 32. We currently have 4 support staff, 3 Custodial, 2 Cafe, 6 office and 2 leadership.
2018-2019 we received our lowest Performance Score to date and we did not meet our Academic Growth goals. Last year only 26.8% of the students entering 6th Grade across the school were proficient. Our rate of Criminal Acts, Bullying, Law Enforcement Referrals, and Arrests exceeded the County and State average as did our rate of suspensions.
Something has to be done and parents and families have to make their voices heard. Please continue to share this petition so that we can submit it to the CSUSA board for consideration.
