💖 The Gushing Emotional Bit
To each and every one of the first 500 of you - thank you. You are beautiful, powerful people. Realising that 500 individual humans have read some (or all) of my story and decided, “Yes, I want to back her,” is honestly wild.

I was going a little bit loopy in the last few hours. The count was sitting at 498… then 499… and just stayed there. For two and a half hours. I kept refreshing the page. I kept pestering my housemate like, “Why is it still at 499?”

And then, finally, it hit 500. And I stopped pacing. That 500th signature? It meant a lot.

500 might seem like just a number, but to me, it’s 500 moments of people choosing to stand with me. That’s 10% of the goal in just two weeks. It made this feel actually possible. And I haven’t even reached out to everyone I know yet.

📣 Wait… What’s This Petition For Again?
If you’ve signed and thought, “Hang on… I support this, but what exactly is going on again?” - fair question.

This petition is part of a two-pronged campaign:

It shows the Department of Home Affairs that I’m not just a number. People care about this case. This is human.
It also aims to engage MPs. When enough people reach out to their representatives, those MPs notice. They bring up issues in Parliament when they hear them echoed loudly and often enough.
That’s what we’re building here. A pattern that can’t be ignored.

📂 So… What Else Can I Do?
Some of you amazing souls have messaged me asking, “What more can I do?” (You are the MVPs.)

Well, I’ve created a Google Drive letter-writing kit—it has:

Here’s the key thing:
➡️ Everyone can send two letters one to your local MP, and one directly to the Minister for Immigration, Hon. Tony Burke.
Both are important. Both help build pressure.

But if you’re in Watson… oh, Watson. You are my most powerful people.

Because Tony Burke is your MP and the Minister. He holds the pen that could sign the change. I’ve heard great things about him, but now we need your voices behind mine.

Your letters, your emails, your polite but persistent presence in his inbox and office, that’s what will get noticed.

I want Tony Burke dreaming my name.
I want his team muttering, “It’s her again and now five more of her neighbours too.”

If you're in Wentworth, reach out to Allegra Spender - I work in the electorate and she’s aware.
