Dear Mecklenburg County Residents,
City Council votes on Rezoning Petition 2020-049 on November 11.
It is CRUCIAL that each of us contact City Council ASAP to urge them to Vote NO. If you emailed prior to the Public Hearing, it is important to do so again directly to each Council Member.
If they hear from enough of us, they will vote no on this proposal!
Write or Call them TODAY! Together, we can really make a difference!

Dear Charlotte City Council,
I urge you to vote NO to Rezoning Petition 2020-049.
This proposal violates our trust in existing Area Plans to protect the fabric of our communities.
This proposal is DIFFERENT from other recent Industrial rezoning. It would result in the transformation of this large tract of residential into an undesirable wasteland - taking away the home equity and quality of life of at least as many people as might get jobs from the proposed site.
This proposal would harm our health, our drinking water and our environment.
This proposal is NOT the highest and best use of this location.
Our community deserves smart growth, amenities and planning like other parts of Charlotte, not a mindless land-grab like this.
And so much more!
I am adamantly opposed to this Rezoning. Sincerely,
