The State of Maryland's Attorney General, Brian Frosh, and Governor, Larry Hogan, continue to advocate on behalf of residents negatively affected by FAA flight path changes at Baltimore-Washington International and Reagan Airport.
Attorney General Frosh has filed a petition with the US Court of Appeals challenging the changes to flight paths at National Airport. In addition, Frosh filed an administrative petition with the FAA seeking additional environmental review of changes made to flight paths.
Much like changes implemented in Charlotte, the FAA determined that there would be little or no impact on communities with the updated flight paths. Maryland officials disagree and are asking for additional study because the noise impacts on communities have been far greater than the FAA predicted.
