Dear Supporters,
Warm greetings and thank you for keeping the momentum going as we see the growing numbers of signatures for this petition. As you may already know, there are currently two bills to end life without parole (LWOP) sentencing, before the Massachusetts legislature. A public hearing will be held very soon, in October 2019 (date and time still to be determined). This legislation will directly impact hundreds of people in Massachusetts prisons and thousands of family members and friends in communities across the Massachusetts Commonwealth.

Subject: This Saturday 9/21 - Take the Next Steps to End Life Sentences
Hello,

To that end, we are hosting a meeting this Saturday to prepare for the public hearing on S.826/H.3358 An Act to Reduce Mass Incarceration that would end the sentence of life without parole. Together we will review the bill, learn about our legislators and where they stand on this issue and what we can do to influence them, prep and practice testimony and more!
We looking forward to seeing you:
