Dear Supporters: Please be advised that I recently received a letter from Michael J. Callahan, Executive Director, stating that my petition is currently pending with the Advisory Board of Pardons. It is the most recent petition that was filed during Deval Patrick’s final year (2014). In his letter, Mr. Callahan lists 4 options: 1. You may leave your existing petition unchanged and the Advisory Board of Pardons will evaluate it as a new petition, under the new guidelines; 2. You may supplement your existing petition with new information that you feel is relevant based on the new guidelines; 3. You may withdraw your existing petition and re-submit a new petition using the new guidelines; 4. You may withdraw your existing petition, without prejudice, and your petition will be closed. I select #2 and will submit updated information about program activities including describing goals and objectives and certificates of completion/achievement. My request is for you to write a brief, comprehensive letter of support to Charles D. Baker, Governor. Please describe our history and explain why you think I’m a great candidate for commutation. Refer to social visits, community programs, correspondence, writing projects, youth work, education, etc. Am I remorseful for the death of John Labanara in 1971? How do I express it in words and actions? Would you feel comfortable with me living in a community setting? Please send all letters to: Charles D. Baker, Governor State House, Rm 280 Boston, Mass 02133 and email copies to julie.pease@state.ma.us and throughbarbedwire@yahoo.com Any questions or comments can be addressed to me at MCI-Norfolk: Arnie King (W33734), MCI-Norfolk, Box 43, Norfolk, MA 02056
