23 year old Josie Cunningham wants to have an abortion because she believes that having a baby will hinder her chances at becoming "famous". She was approached in the hopes that she might appear on Big Brother. She has stated that producers have gone cold after hearing that she was pregnant. Josie feels that if she has an abortion that they will be back on board.

"This time next year I won’t have a baby. Instead, I’ll be famous, driving a bright pink Range Rover and buying a big house. Nothing will get in my way.”

Appearing on Big Brother is worth more to her than the life of the 18 week old baby.
