[17/03] AN EMAIL HAS BEEN SENT TO SUNTRIP RECORDS REGARDING THIS RELEASE. SUNTRIP HAS 48 HOURS TO RESPOND.

To see a live countdown, please refer to this.

This is not over.

We have sent Suntrip Records a new email, however, for now, it will remain private. We have given them 48 hours to respond to us via email. The email contains heavily redacted information. Failure for them to respond within 48 hours will result in us sharing parts of this letter publically.

The Contents of the Email:

  1. Reinstating Our Goals
  2. Margot’s “Workshop” Claims Remain Unverified
  3. Questions for Suntrip Records
  4. Your Justification for Deleting Comments is Misleading
  5. The MixMag Response
    1. Manipulation of Public Discourse
    2. Failure to Halt Production of "Tjukurpa"
    3. Deflection and Deception
    4. Total Misunderstanding of Aboriginal Identities
    5. Misleading Statements about Streaming Platforms
  6. Addressing A Member’s Departure from the Committee
  7. Addressing Hostility in the Discourse
  8. Comments from Aboriginal Artists who Condemn your Release

We eagerly anticipate their response. Our team has been working hard and many external bodies are now involved in this issue. We cannot elaborate for legal reasons. Suntrip need to make steps towards effective change NOW.

The CHANGE.ORG petition has also been edited.

With sovereignty and respect,
-Members of the Australian Electronic Music Community
