23rd June was the first meeting between myself and representatives of the Innsbruck City Council.

The points of the petition were heard and a brief discussion about the legal points and potential for new locations. Despite general support I was told the process could be a slow one as there are also the Events & Security and Law departments who need to be involved...

However, due to a broader interest in a new arrangement, there will now be a follow up council meeting that includes this topic on the 19th July! One that may lead us closer to a new agreement being made! 

I have also been contacted by the authors of the 2020 petition to change the street music situation in Innsbruck. We will have a meeting this week and make a joint proposal for the upcoming council meeting.
