Many of you have been waiting to hear from the CAMBC board for the next steps forward in the recent decision about Ragged Mountain Reservoir. We spent a considerable amount of time on Wednesday evening reviewing the issues and all information surrounding it. What is next, you ask?
1) The Board has upcoming meetings with many of the BoS to address their individual concerns and present our goal in this whole process. We have greatly appreciated those of you who have spoken with them directly and all of the information gathering that has already occurred thanks to our members.
2) We are in the final stages of compiling formal talking points for everyone to reference in communication, whether in letters, at board meetings or in other conversations. We are creating these for both County and City residents. We are working hard to keep our message clear, concise and very importantly, positive. We appreciate your patience as we finalize these and they will be sent out to the email list later this weekend.
3) We are creating a list of specific Board meetings/Town Halls to attend, including sign up sheets so we can ensure all of them are well attended, leading up to the Board revisiting the issue on April 3rd. Stay tuned as these will also be ready later this weekend.
4) We have set up a Zoom call this coming Sunday at 8:00 pm - This is meant to be a platform for folks to ask specific questions to the board about Ragged, the history of the debate and the plans moving forward.
