We have had confirmation this week that the proposed new Bill is substantially drafted and will be sent out to Consultation and be put before Tynwald after the Summer Recess. Indications are that this will be much more "fit for purpose" than the previous draft Bill and that it will address many of the concerns we raised in the first consultation. Manx Radio have done some excellent interviews around the legislation and why it has taken this long to make progress, and they have compiled the following compilation piece/update. Please listen to the interviews (attached here) and thank you for your support. Thank you also to Manx radio for helping keep Domestic Abuse and Coercive Control high on the public agenda, and to Dr Allinson MHK for his support and insight. Please keep sharing, keep raising awareness and keep encouraging your friends and colleagues to sign.
THANK YOU!
