I am being asked to apply for a zoning variance. Tim Durr, the zoning officer, let me know 25% of the township isn't supposed to have chickens. He said it is because areas with more residences expressed disinterest in having chickens run free. The township would have to implement other laws and Tim said they do not have time to check on extra things like enclosures. I am going to look into the process and know there are fees involved.
