Ότι γνωρίζετε και καθοδηγείτε όλες τις δράσεις της Κυβέρνησης καθώς και των δημόσιων υπηρεσιών, ώστε να υλοποιείται η πολιτική που έχει αποφασιστεί. (Άρα και Τέμπη, ΟΠΕΚΕΠΕ κλπ..)

Δεν μπορείς λοιπόν να παριστάνεις συνεχώς τον ανήξερο, ούτε πολιτικά, αλλά ούτε και ποινικά.

 Σ'αυτή τη Χώρα της Φαιδράς πορτοκαλέας, όπου ο Υπουργός Δικαιοσύνης μιας Κυβέρνησης και ο πρώτος υποψήφιος για την Εισαγγελία του Αρείου Πάγου είναι αδέρφια, η ανεξαρτησία της Δικαιοσύνης, το Κράτος Δικαίου και η απόδοση Δικαιοσύνης για όλους, παραμένει ένα όνειρο κυριολεκτικά θερινής νυκτός. 

Ο πιθανά νέος εισαγγελέας του Αρείου Πάγου Βασίλης Φλωρίδης, δεν είναι τυχαία αυτός που χαρακτήρισε έξι φορές «ατύχημα» το έγκλημα στα Τέμπη.

Στη Χώρα όπου στις δημοσκοπήσεις 8 στους 10 πολίτες δεν εμπιστεύονται το πολιτικό σύστημα ούτε τη Δικαιοσύνη και ο κόσμος πιστεύει ότι οι δικαστές είτε ενεργούν υπέρ της εκάστοτε κυβέρνησης, είτε χρηματίζονται, η ανάγκη για πλήρη διαχωρισμό και διάκριση των εξουσιών δεν είναι απλά απαραίτητη. Είναι προϋπόθεση Κράτους Δικαίου. Απέχουμε πολύ.

In this country of the absurd, where the Minister of Justice of a Government and the leading candidate for the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court are brothers, the independence of the Judiciary, the Rule of Law, and the equitable administration of justice for all remain, quite literally, a midsummer night’s dream. 

The likely new Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, Vasilis Floridis, is not coincidentally the one who described the Tempi tragedy six times as an "accident."

In a nation where, according to surveys, eight out of ten citizens distrust both the political system and the Judiciary, and where the public believes that judges either act in favor of the incumbent government or are subject to corruption, the imperative for a complete separation and distinction of powers is not merely necessary. It is an essential prerequisite for the Rule of Law. We remain far from achieving it.
