Hello friends! 

I'm am speechless. Three days ago, I was so excited about almost reaching 500 signatures...so imagine my shock when I opened this petition up this morning to find almost 10,000 signatures!!! I want to give special shout outs to Minire Paljevic and several anonymous supporters who donated almost $200 dollars to our campaign! With your support, the #ChangeTheChief campaign was able to get over 4000 signatures!!! I can't thank all of you enough. I am humbled by your support. 

But we CANNOT stop yet! We have a momentum that can take this campaign from being a small startup to a national movement! 10,000 signatures isn't nearly enough to make the Chicago Blackhawks take notice and listen to the Indigenous community, and our allies, that the Chief Blackhawk mascot NEEDS to dismantled and replaced! 

In order to make this change happen, we need to keep working together as a community, and share this campaign out with our family, friends, co-workers, and on our favorite social media sites! Make sure we continue to use the hashtag #ChangeTheChief in all of your posts.
