Just like facial recognition, the IRS walked back one of the issues mentioned in this petition (K-2/K-3). They put out a press release just last night, February 15th. Many accounting firms lost hours of their time learning these new requirements, only to have the IRS walk it back. We can't get that time back. I'm going to send another update with information on how to contact state representatives and senators regarding this issue. With the help of 5calls.org, we might even have a script you can use. Stay tuned for that.
