ESDC have emailed me today In accordance with the Petitions Protocol, as our petition now has more than 1200 signatures (1346 to date) so it will automatically be referred to the Full Council for consideration and debate.   It will therefore be considered at the next Full Council meeting, which is due to take place on Wednesday, 16th July. I also have a meeting planned with councillors on July 9th.

I have been invited to attend in person to address the Council, outlining the reasons for the submission of the petition and what action we would like the Council to take. As the  Lead Petitioner I will be given 5 minutes in which to present this information and the petition will then be discussed by Councillors for a maximum of 30 minutes. The Ward Councillor can, at the request of the lead signatory, present the petition to Council on behalf of the relevant petitioners.

So I am requesting that you either comment in the comments section of this petition, or email me: rawdolphins@live.com with your reasons for signing this petition and what action you would like the council to make? The more comments, signatures and reasons we have, the more likely the Council are to make changes, please voice your reasons. If we can reach over 2000 signatures we stand a much better chance.

Thank you for your continued support,

Jenny Cook
