Good Morning Supporters, Thank you for the support in signing our petition! Unfortunately, we heard that a dog died in a vehicle on Wednesday. And in a second case, the owners came out before the police even showed up. This can not continue! We need to change the law to allow civilians to step in and rescue an animal in distress. Leaving animals in hot vehicles is completely unacceptable and neglectful. The LVMPD claim that they have made these types of calls a "priority" but even so, may not get to the scene quick enough to save the animal. If two calls come in at the same time: 1) Armed Robbery or other crime in progress vs 2) Dog left in hot vehicle, we all know what call will take priority. Please share this petition and ask your family & friends to sign as well. Together, we can change this law so no more animals die in hot vehicles. TOGETHER, we can save our fur babies!
