A great big thank you to all our supporters and the hospitality of both Asda and Costa staff supporting our visit last Saturday.

we have now over 700 signatures including my visit to Asda store where many signed a paper format.

I’m so proud that a pupil in one of Leicester’s special schools has challenged councillor Vi Dempster to overturn the decision to cut funding for post 16 special needs students transport and funding to help and support his peers despite currently not being effected by the change as yet.

my heart  melted when I read your letter to the councillor full story in the Leicester mercury.

well done for standing up and speaking out to support your fellow peers.
I am now trying to gather as many parents/carers whom attend all special needs provision to sign the  petition then I will  be able to present it to our MP. Miss C Webbe.

I’m overwhelmed by the amount of distress I see in our autistic community as they are so worried they may not be at there placements after the July holidays it’s really hard to console them when as protectors we have no answer to give right now.

They lack understanding and thrive with routine and stability what have the local authority done to these Childrens Mental Health.

Please please can you keep supporting me I am not just my sons voice but I am trying to advocate for many that can’t speak.

blessings to you all

Lisa
