It never gets easier talking about mum.Hopefully our tragic loss will help bring change and prevent more families being devastated. 

We have been invited to link our tragic story with the Firework campaign.They have fought long and hard for 10 years to bring about change. Subsequently they have had several 1 million plus signature petitions debated in parliament. 

We are hoping that this new Government will see the distress and destruction that the misuse of fireworks causes. Not only to families as in our case but horses,pets wildlife those suffering from PTSD plus wider communities in general. 

The firework campaign has formed a foundation AFLR its aim is to link charities organisations etc together to make a stronger force to bring about change. I have cut and pasted their mission statement to better explain.

The Association for Firework Legislation Reform (AFLR) is a new UK based organisation. Our mission is to gather support from the wide range of charities, organisations, groups and individuals who are all, in one way or another, negatively affected by the extreme overuse of fireworks today. We hope to improve the welfare of vulnerable members of society, as well as domestic, agricultural and wild animals, whilst balancing people's right to enjoy fireworks.
