This petition is aiming to bring about realistic change to make fireworks safer and more friendly for Humans and animals alike.

Ideally fireworks would be for displays only. Buying fireworks on the high street and setting them off in private gardens seems antiquated to me. Watching our dog Freddy tremble for hours while fireworks are set off all year round at random times of the night and day for that matter is not acceptable. This petition aims to vastly reduce the window for sale and use to make animal welfare more manageable. 

I am considering placing a line in the petition to not only reduce times fireworks can be used but also to introduce an animal friendly firework catergory with noise kept below a set level.
