We are currently distraught at the decisions made in the Magistrates court today regarding the breach of bail conditions.
The young offender had breached his bail conditions a month ago and had returned home as it was deemed a low form of breach at the time. We were told that in any event he breaches his conditions that he will be remanded in a young offender’s institution.
Unfortunately today we have been told that although the defendant has breached his conditions for the second time, whereby this was a serious breach he has returned home yet again.
We do not understand why a serious crime involving a persons life being taken is being treated with a lack of good judgement. Youth offenders will not understand the seriousness of their actions if they are not faced with consequences for their actions.
The young offender has breached his conditions twice and the Magistrates judge has decided to allow him to return to his home on both occasions although it is evident that he not complied.
We are disappointed at the decisions made in a Magistrates court and have appealed this decision. We thank you for your continued support, please continue to share this petition. We would like to keep all our supporters informed of the outcome regarding this case.
Many thanks,
