It's been a while since I posted an update but that doesn't mean that no campaigning has been going on! I have been attending the Scottish Parliamentary cross party group calling for more Changing Places toilets. Back in 2021 the SNP pledged to make £10 million available to provide more Changing Places toilets.
That fund has yet to be launched.
We all know that Changing Places toilets matter. Without them disabled children have to be changed on toilet floors, disabled teenagers and adults may have to sit in their own body fluids for prolonged periods of time. Some disabled people limit their fluid intake to avoid having to use the toilet when out and about.
Please then, if you're reading this, lend your support to the Scottish Changing Places campaign, take a minute to sign the petition below asking the Scottish Parliament to make that funding available, Thank you!
