Today Anne and myself met with Minister of State for Care, Caroline Dinenage MP. We highlighted the lack of Changing Places toilets in hospitals and healthcare settings, as well as in the wider community, which is having a detrimental impact on disabled people and their carers. We provided her with evidence that disabled people are being changed on toilet floors and left in soiled pads when visiting outpatient appointments and other healthcare settings. From Carolines words today she wants to help bring change, we have asked for feedback on any action planned as a result of todays meeting. We will keep you informed.
