Well a very substantial development at the meeting I had with my local council today. They have promised to tighten planning permission laws, (subject to mandatory consultation), and make it compulsory for Changing Places loo's to be included in new public buildings as specified by Building Standards 8300/2009. This should be in place, all being well by Christmas. They have also said that they will look at every standard disabled toilet in North Lincolnshire to see which ones can be converted into Changing Places as part of a rolling programme. Currently I am ecstatic, but also aware that this campaign needs to continue for the rest of the UK. I will be appearing on Radio Humberside again at 5.40 this evening.
