A research was conducted to see what the recognition of a Bachelor of Arts is around the world.

In America, Australia, Asia and Europe it is mostly recognized as an Arts, Social or Languages Studies.

According to the link, there can be seen that there is only 1 school in America that offers a BA in Hospitality Management, same goes for Australia. In Asia there are no schools. And in Europe, there is one school in Cyprus, Germany, and England that offers a BA in Hospitality Management.

Therefore, the conclusion can be drawn that the BA is not fully recognized as a management study around the world, and therefore, that we are losing grounds by cutting our degree in Bachelor of Business Administration down to a Bachelor in Arts.
