Different Difficulty level of SSC CGL TIER-I 2015

Different Difficulty level of SSC CGL TIER-I 2015
The Issue
Sir/Madam,
Sub: Regarding Difference in the difficulty level of SSC CGL Tier I Paper in different Shifts
Myself D. Chakradhar, I appeared for SSC CGL Tier I 2015 16th August Evening Session Paper. After giving the paper, I found the Difficulty level of the paper was much higher than the other shift paper conducted on 9th August & 16th August. Infact not only me, all the students who gave their exam on 16th August 2015 Evening Shift are still in shock. There was a huge difference in the difficulty level of 16th August Evening Shift paper in comparison to other shift. SSC does not follow a normalization process and thus it will impact the selection chances of the students who gave 16th August Evening Shift Paper.
Every year more than 20 lakhs candidates appear for SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission – Combined Graduate Level Exam) in order to get a reputed Govt. Job and cherish the dream to serve the nation. But due to this mismanagement of exams, many aspirants gets disappointed after working really hard. For some aspirants, this would be their last chance and they will be under huge depression after giving 16th August Afternoon Shift Paper. Thus, it is our request to consider making SSC CGL Tier I Exam only a Qualifying Paper as you have for IAS/PCS & Bank Exams. SSC CGL Tier 2 exam should be conducted ensuring equal level of difficulty for all the sets. This will not be difficult to do as the number of candidates in Tier 2 exam would be far lesser than Tier I Paper.
With the above mentioned process, all the candidates who will qualify for tier 2 exams will be on the same level irrespective of their SSC CGL Tier I Score. This practice will ensure a fair process for selection.
Thanks and Regards,
