Hydrotherapy helps people who find it difficult or impossible to move on land, because the warm water supports their bodies. The therapists can also help in ways that are impossible in a treatment room. People with a wide range of ages and conditions, including pregnant women, find it invaluable. Yet RBH claim its benefits are unproven & that it costs too much.

Arthritis Matters campaigned for it to be opened and have paid for weekly use ever since. Some of us have seen what feels like miraculous improvements as a result. Others depend on it to keep mobile.The Muscular Dystrophy Society value hydrotherapy for children too and have produced this shocking document

Sign today to let RBH know how much we need and value the hydrotherapy pool, and ask them to change their minds and keep it open!

We can tell RBH that the benefits are well documented and that far too many people will be left without access to hydro if they close their pool, because private use is very expensive and we can't find any other NHS pool in Berkshire. It will also mean a steep rise in referrals for other treatments as people's bodies stiffen and worsen. Tomorrow YOU may need it!
