What did IIT Madras say in the court?

One of the suggestions we had for the errors in the Hindi question papers was to evaluate the Hindi papers with errors separately. IITM has represented in the court that it is not possible because the question papers were issued randomly and language was changed if the candidate requested it even in the examination hall. Their instructions say clearly that once language is selected during registration process, it cannot be changed. The hall ticket / admit card clearly states the language chosen.
I have added a link to the the page in the judgement about question paper language, the page from the instruction booklet about the same and the hall ticket (part of it for confidentiality purpose).

Can any of you who took JEE Advanced 2017 exam confirm that this change in question paper did happen in their halls?
Did IIT make it public before the exam that they would entertain change in question paper language anywhere?
I am looking for answers to these two important questions.
