First follow up and thank you

Hi friends, family, and community members,

I don’t have too much of an update; I want to say THANK YOU. This petition received an overwhelming and enormous response. I feel very loved and cared for by you all, which is the best thing I can have at this moment- as being left without your medication for so long is a great way to feel uncared for.

This week I am supposed to be introduced to the director of clinical affairs at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation; I’m under the impression that she and I will schedule to meet and talk soon.

A thought: When I made this petition, I did so without the expectation of obtaining the exact result I would like. Getting my exact request fulfilled would be a dream come true! My minimal expectation was to start a conversation in the community about the issue- to bring awareness to a problem and encourage minds to think and talk.

Potentially, people in power have better ideas for resolve or reasonable compromises. It’s my hope that with the framework of my story and opportunity for improvement in mind, SOMETHING can come about to bring more peace for everyone.
