Late last night Intel's CEO became the third to resign from Trump's manufacturing council, after Trump attacked Merck CEO Ken Frazier who is African American. Intel CEO Krzanich said, "I resigned because I want to make progress, while many in Washington seem more concerned with attacking anyone who disagrees with them. We should honor – not attack – those who have stood up for equality and other cherished American values." This was a clear reference to Trump's twitter attack on Frazier. Just a few hours before Krzanich, Under Armour's CEO had resigned from the council as well. Several CEOs have expressed their intent to continue working the President, so we will change focus to target those specifically with this Petition. (Tightening our focus will also allow us to sidestep a problem that Change.org has had with loading email addresses for the 20+ CEOs involved. After trying a couple of times yesterday to input their emails, I contacted a Change.org representative who suggested fewer petition targets to help the system function better.) Thank you everyone for signing, and again if you can please help by finding new places on FB, Twitter, etc to repost and share that would be great! Sincerely - Tim M.
