CenturyLink: Fix the internet service our community pays for.

Thousands of eastern Oregonians struggle to have a stable and fast connection to the internet through one of Harney County's internet service provider, CenturyLink. For years the community has been been paying for their services and CenturyLink has been unable to deliver.
While ISP alternatives have appeared (IE, MiWave), not all can switch and are stuck with CenturyLink due to geographical and infrastructure restrictions.
In this day and age, a fast and reliable service is a must. Whether it be for entertainment purposes, or entrepreneurship opportunities; much of our daily interactions rely on the internet. Without something stable and up to date, Harney County will fall behind.
CenturyLink: Listen to your consumers, we have been complaining for years and many are beginning to switch providers. Update your infrastructure so people can actually use your services in this day and age. As data demand increases, your current system will continue to be unusable and turn many people away.
Local governments: Please speak to the providers on this. If the cities have contracts with CenturyLink, we ask that you help us voice our concerns and consider alternatives for future agreements.
