Support Non-Animal Testing Technologies in Ireland

The Issue

The Irish Anti-Vivisection Society (IAVS) is calling on the Centre for Research in Medical Devices (CURAM) to abandon its plans to build a new Large Animal Test Facility, which will increase the level of animal cruelty in Ireland and could lead to cruel and lethal experiments on primates for the first time in Ireland. The IAVS urges CURAM instead to adopt a more ethical and scientific strategy by creating a much-needed National Centre for Non-Animal Testing Technologies.
