The CTRL project (Campaign for Timezone Re-aLignment) aims to extend the application of off-set time zones from national level to specific geographical local, by positioning Central Saint Martins at UTC-00:30.

The CTRL is an intervention to establish a new off-set time zone surrounding Central Saint Martins, subtracting thirty minutes to better facilitate the needs of CSM students' bodies and minds. The benefits of CSM at UTC - 00:30 are twofold.

Firstly, it would instantaneously reduce the chance of students missing lectures and seminars, it would also reduce the student and staff’s morning commute. 

Secondly, the student bar would be able to stay open until 12:30 am. GMT time, in effect the license to sell alcohol would be extended by an important half hour.

This is a collaborative project of CSM MA: AICI and MA: CCC students; Elliott Burns, Yonca Keremoğlu, Yi La, Barbara Lanzafame, Jad Shamas, Si Shen, Charlie Watsface, a respond to create a time machine.
