My 12yr old daughter was born with, but not diagnosed until 3yrs old,  with Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome, Mitochondrial disease and more. We raised money to get her to see the best Dr. for these illnesses. This Dr. has dedicated his whole career to these particular illnesses. He needs my daughter to have a specific test done for " Whole Genome/Exome Sequencing". She needs this testing done, so that her Dr. can determine exactly which mitochondrial disorder she has, so he can better treat it. Right now he is just having her take things that will cover most of her problems, but with the right information, he could probably take her off of some of her meds, or put her on better meds to treat her disorder. 

Blue Shield (CCPN) has denied her coverage for this test 4 different times already, her Dr. and I both appealed it, and they just dont care...BUT they are taking more money out of our check beginning next month for there coverage! you know...they can do that of course.

My daughter needs this test to be done, This illness has really effected her life. She cant attend public school, so she has no friends. She cant play sports, she cant spend too much time outdoors, she cant get overly excited about things, and she cant get too upset either. All of these listed things can cause her to be hospitalized, for up to 2 weeks at a time. 

This petition is basically my last hope on getting this test done. So PLEASE sign and share, please help get this noticed!
