It has been Victorous Day

We had a site visit with participation from all stake holders, pollution board, nhpc, Nhai and Sub contractor along with ADC faridabad. During the visit it was clearly shown to all on how hazardous the conditions are for near residing colonies. ADC Mr.Jitender Singh assured that they would implement three measures with effect from today: 1) More water would be sprinkled. 2) Fencing to be raised around the site to create barrier for the winds carrying fly ash. 3) green sheet to be placed on top of fly ash dumps. To secure sand bags or mud bags shall be placed on top. Along with the above measures, we are circling up again on 22nd April to see implementation, effect and review the sutitation. Later in the evening, Mr arora yaarfrom NHPC called to inform that site at faridabad Gurgaon raod has been closed and before closure all required norms like earth filling will be performed. This is the most welcomed decision by our authorities. The closure would certainly help in reducing Ash pollution. Lastly we have another meeting aligned on Saturday 22nd April on the site ( ash dumpyard at faridabad-Gurgaon road). Until then pls keep us supporting us.
