Hi All,

Many of you received notice that Brad Buck is resigning as superintendent. Mr. Buck was an instrumental leader and influencer on pushing for-profit-based Marzano's Standards Based Grading on Cedar Rapids Community Schools. The Board of Directors will work to fill the position in the coming weeks.

Now is the time to let the Board know, to let your high school and middle school principals know, that we don't want that grading system in our schools. That we insist on the traditional grading system.

If the hiring process for the new superintendent allows public participation, get involved! Select candidate that will return CR schools to traditional based grading system. Stop the Marzano insanity! One man's life mission for profit and glory is going to negatively impact a generation of students.
